We work with some amazing schools who create fantastic, imaginative Tales Toolkit stories with their children.
We wanted to support this storytelling to continue at home during this difficult time and to do everything we can to support our schools.
So we’ve created Tales Toolkit for families!

All of our signed up schools will have free access for all of their families to the Tales Toolkit family website.

On the website you’ll find stories, activities and ideas for storytelling at home.

These have been created by our founder Kate, the fantastic practitioners who use Tales Toolkit in school and we even have a few tales from top experts like Alistair Bryce Clegg and Greg Bottrill

There are downloadable resources, illustrations you can use in your stories and links to websites we love that have lots of ideas and support.

To get you started this week we have a very funny, exclusive story from the wonderful Alistair Bryce Clegg who sent this over to support us with our parent resources.

We’re huge fans of his work and there are links in our family website to his great home school ideas.
Find out more on his website.

Like Alistair we’re big believers in having a laugh with your children. Those silly moments that bring fun and light relief to tense situations can make all the difference.

Here’s a link to a great article that chats a little about the benefits of being silly.

If you’re interested in your school or your child’s school becoming members of Tales Toolkit then drop us a message at info@talestoolkit.com or check out our website.

UPDATE:

Thanks to funding support from OVOI, we are now creating a family training package that settings will be able to share with parents and caregivers to further support development at home with Tales Toolkit.
