Gill is the director of Frattempo Ltd which is an education consultancy business specialising in EdTech and publishing services. She has over 30 years’ experience of education as a teacher, publisher, researcher and writer of Early Years and primary English language and literacy resources. 

Before establishing Frattempo, Gill was an in-house educational primary publisher for 14 years, and prior to that progressed from mainstream class teacher (3–7-year-olds) to senior adviser within education. She is RSA qualified in supporting the needs of bilingual pupils and continues to work extensively in international markets as both teacher and trainer.

Gill has been an industry judge for both BETT and ERA educational awards for the last ten years and is both a governor and trustee for The Ridgeway Learning Partnership.
