Chickenshed is a theatre company based in North London, founded in 1974 in an old chicken shed by Mary Ward and Jo Collins. Their mission focuses on creating opportunities for learning, personal growth, and collaboration in a welcoming, supportive environment. By offering various education programs and courses, Chickenshed aims to promote creativity and confidence, helping people grow both onstage and in their wider communities.

Totally Tales

Chickenshed are our amazing theatre partners who helped us develop Tales Toolkit into a live experience in the form of Totally Tales! This brilliant London-based theatre company worked closely with us to transform Tales Toolkit's storytelling approach into an interactive show for children aged 0–7.

Together, we created something truly magical—an unpredictable performance where kids bring their own objects, toys, and story ideas to shape adventures alongside professional performers onstage. With lively music and playful characters, every show becomes a unique experience as the audience's contributions help craft an amazing narrative.

This collaboration perfectly combines Chickenshed's theatrical expertise with our early storytelling methodology, creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where little ones can build their storytelling skills through live performance. It's the ultimate fusion of education and entertainment!
